Moving to Louisville? We can't wait to meet you! FIND OUT MORE HERE

Welcome to the Town of Louisville, Tennessee

Welcome to the Town of Louisville. We are a vibrant and growing community located on the banks of Fort Loudon Reservoir and in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our location in proximity to the lake, the mountains and the neighboring cities of Alcoa, Knoxville, Maryville and Oak Ridge makes living here convenient to the majority of work locales in the area.

We are committed to providing a livable community that is a great place to live, work and play. We believe that a livable community provides government services at a reasonable cost, and to that end we are a committed no-property tax community. While we do not have a property tax, we have been able to provide services to our residents such as fire protection, ambulance service and animal control through intergovernmental and other agreements. The livability of our community is no longer a secret, as our population has grown from 750 in 1990 to more than 4,000 in 2015.

Thanks for your interest in the Town of Louisville. You should find much of the information you need about our community on this website. If you can’t find what you need, give us a call and our staff will be more than happy to assist you. Better yet, stop by and see us at our beautiful Town Hall and Community Center.
